The Initiation Process:

The following must be completed in order to be successfully initiated into Sigma Gamma Tau, University of Michigan Chapter.

• Contribute time to work at the donut stand. (see donut stand schedule)
• A one time payment of USD $80.
• Participate in at least 6 events before the initiation ceremony.
  • 1 Leadership Project
  • 2 Service Events
  • 3 Social/Academic Events
    
• Attend initiation.

Those seeking initiation can download a copy of their event attendance record for verification. Should any discrepancies be found, please email the Initiates Chair for clarification and admenment.

For active status:

If any active member completes the following requirements, they will be able to rent stoles for free at graduation.

• 1 Service Event
• 1 Tutoring Session (at least sign up)
• 1 Social Event
